December 3rd 2006 3.01am:

Does anyone remember an old 80s series called Doogie Howser MD? It was kinda cool and I always remembered that at end of each show this young teenage whiz doctor would fill up his online diary with thoughts of what he did for the day.

As I was typing this entry, it kinda remindered me of that series. Anyhow just to share with you, since I was young, I have always tried to keep a dairy or journal or somesort but I would get to like 2-3 entries and would never find the discipline to daily update my diary. Just a lil flash back I would like to share with you all.

You know there is a saying…

“… Clothes New Are Best, Friends Old Are Best…- Annonymous…”

I totally agreed. Its been ages since I hung out with my old friends (well I had an appointent with some older best friends yesterday as well but one of them is sick.. CK get well soon, the 4 of us need to go out drinking and discuss on ‘business ventures’ soon) I spent Sat night at the Jazz festival (well technically outside coz we had to wait for like 2 hours for the guys at the Nasi Melayu Kampung Place opposite the Bayview Beach to get our meals ready for us) By the time we arrive at the Jazz Festival, it was already the last act. But we still manage to chill, had a few beers and enjoy the music. I am seriously thinking of going back on Sunday evening once again.

Oh yeah… you know why I remembered the saying (my dad had this Wooden Plaque hung over his door with this words) “… Clothes New Are Best, Friends Old Are Best…” coz some of the greatest moments in life are the wild, stupid and unforgettable stuff you ended up doing with your buddies and after a few years you sit down and become sentimental, think about them and have a good laugh about them all over again. I have been blessed with many close friends whom have always been there for me during good and bad times (strictly from my own perspective, true best friends are those who laugh with you and also are there for you through the toughest of moments) and trust me I have been scraping the bottom of the barrels of hard times before but no matter what somehow or another (and even though i am quite secretive and a person who keeps alot of thougths to myself) there has always been those friends whom have always been there for me.

So during this Yuletide period… Dress Smart and GO KRAZY shopping for new clothes and new stuff for the home to enjoy Xmas(alot of my friends are telling me Queen’s Bay is like to die for but anyone who knows me well knows how i hate shopping unless i really have to… will see Queen’s Bay in one month… hahahaha) but back to the earlier topic… ALWAYS REMEMBER NEVER TO FORGET OLD FRIENDS for what happiness do we have if we dont share those moments with them in order for us to grow old and to think about and to laugh and smile and to cherish GREAT MOMENTS & MEMORIES in life. Well this are my thoughts for tonite… might sound a wee bit sentimental and all but hey you never know what’s going to happen tomorrow so always Carpedium(Seize The Moment in Latin.. I hope i spelled it right)

“… Clothes New Are Best, Friends Old Are Best…- Annonymous…”
